Purpose of Cassava S/A

Transform our main raw material, cassava roots, into healthy and useful products, meeting the most varied needs of the market. We offer product lines ranging from natural cassava starch (also known as tapioca starch) to more sophisticated derivatives, such as high-performance modified starches and special flours. Our lines are GMO Free, Allergent Free and Gluten Free, in addition to natural and organic.

Company Units

The company operates four manufacturing units strategically established in the main cassava production regions, which have a daily collective processing capacity of 900 tons.

Headquartered in the states of Santa Catarina, Paraná and Mato Grosso do Sul, the units make the logistical flow throughout the country easier, enabling the fare of customized bundles designed to meet the specifc needs of each client.

CASSAVAS’ first branch office in the state of Paraná was established in 1983 and, nowadays, has modern equipment for the production of special flours available.

KOSHER

The Kosher certificate is a document issued to attest the suitability of the products manufactured by a certain
company to the particular standards of the Orthodox Jewish diet. It’s renowned worldwide and has become synonymous with maximum quality control.

SEDEX

SMETA is a social audit procedure widely used around the world. Recognized worldwide, it provides a responsible way to evaluate supply chain activities, including labor rights, environment, health, safety and business ethics.

ISO 9001

The Quality Management System is the set of activities and tasks that must be accomplished by the members
of an organization in such a way as to ensure the quality of products and services produced by it, always aiming
at customer satisfaction.

BRCGS – Food Safety

The BRCGS’ global food safety standard is professedly the benchmark for the compliance with good in
industrial food standards and, also, acknowledged by GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative).

NON GMO

The acronym Non – GMO represents transgene-free foods, that is, food and products whose raw materials
are conventionally cultured without the use of genetically modified organisms.
